Gary Mule Deer's unique comedy and music have set him apart as one-of-a-kind. He has performed on every major concert stage in the country and made over 350 television appearances, including many on both The Tonight Show and The Late Show With David Letterman. He was one of six comedians, along with Jay Leno, to star on the first HBO Comedy Special Freddie Prinze and Friends . Gary was the co-host of Don Kirshner's Rock Concert for four years on NBC, and a regular on Make Me Laugh. He is currently featured on the DVDs Jeff Foxworthy's Comedy Classics, and The World's Greatest Stand-up Comedy Collection, hosted by Norm Crosby. Gary's most recent appearance on David Letterman was September 19, 2009.
Gary entertains regularly in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City. He has shared the stage with everyone from Ray Charles, Roy Orbison and Frank Sinatra to Willie Nelson, Brooks & Dunn and Vince Gill. For over fifteen years he has been touring in concert as special guest with Johnny Mathis, everywhere from the Hollywood Bowl to Royal Albert Hall in London. Gary performs often on the Grand Ole Opry, and on January10, 2009, he appeared at Carnegie Hall.
For the past two years Gary has been the entertainment for the national Professional Baseball Scouts awards gala, is a favorite at corporate events across the country, and has performed for major golf tournaments such as the AT&T Pebble Beach, the Kraft Nabisco Championship, Arnold Palmer's Champions for Children, the Frank Sinatra, and Johnny Miller's Champions Challenge.
